Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

For being good all week I've earned some shitty lager with a shitty whiskey chaser.
Re: Thread O'Booze REVISED!
Good stuff. Ive barely eaten a thing today and it wouldn't take much more to put me over the no driving limit.
Re: Thread O'Booze REVISED!
Saw this today, though I agree it's far too early, wanted to try it. Nice but not £4(?!?!) nice.
Re: Thread O'Booze REVISED!
This one next, same festive feel, different taste though. This is the dogs. Lots of hops but not too much. Tiny bit of citrus but no more than that. For just 4.6% it packs a punch and leaves a lovely bitter aftertaste. Bloody good one this.
Re: Thread O'Booze REVISED!
Do people in England actually drink barleywines, old ales, and strong ales? Everything seems to be milds, bitters, and things like under 5%. Those styles are a lot of fun, but it's mind boggling to an American craft beer fan that such mild stuff is so popular.

Wrapping up the work day. These people make damn fine beer. No fancy labels and witty names just fucking good.
