Out for a trad session and ordered the house lager. This is not how lagers should be. I got sucked in by the price.

IPAs exist so you dont have to try and make everything else taste like an IPA. God damn bearded hipsters
You could switch to an IPA rye. :twitch:
So it seems something I consumed tonight quite literally didn't agree with me. I had that shit beer that I sort of choked down and then a regular beer. A little while later I started feeling like shit, like I was gonna puke. I made my way to the bathroom and passed out for a few minutes. I woke up and out it came. Felt fine afterwards but left because I was sure I had puke breath. Back home still feeling normal.
Jesus, that ain't good. Something to pay attention to, just to make sure it wasn't the shitty booze.
Yeah this was kind of new territory, but still feeling fine. Really not sure what to make of it, doesn't seem to be food poisoning as this was a 1 and done type of thing.
Hopefully just a fluke. Sometimes the stomach just doesn't want that thing in there.

Yeah, thanks, Im still feeling fine today. The one question I have is how long was I out for while in the bathroom. It was a strange feeling to awaken slumped on the floor.

Speaking as a professional epilepticker who's come to confused more than a few times, I don't endorse that kind of behaviour in amateurs and IPA addicts.

I was awoken in a stall by a bouncer once, which was supremely disorienting because I hadn't drunk very much. I'm almost positive I was dosed somehow.

Wow, that's very weird. I'd make a joke about you hating hipsters so much that your body rejects their swill so violently, but that's pretty disconcerting. Hopefully a fluke one time thing.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yeah I'll chalk it up with the time I puked blood like 25 years ago. I started feeling unwell so I pulled into a McDonald's parking lot and let it out. It probably looked like more blood than there actually was. Doctor found no reason for that either .

The Boss decided she wanted beer, so I grabbed a bottle of the Beam.

Just back from my chiropractor, and while I'm not 100% we agreed that I don't need to book another appointment unless things suddenly get shitty again. So I celebrated by getting a bottle of whisky (Forty Creek, if you care about such things). The Boss is also out of town, so I get to drink without fear of being judged.

I disagree. If there isn't an element of shame in your drinking, you might be a psychopath.

I've been going since November. But to his credit, after the first few weekly visits, the space between our appointments has grown. Before today, the last one was a month ago. He's forced me to temper my wariness about chiropractors as the ambulance chasers of the medical field.
