Last I understood about Shatner's twitter, they gave some 20 something hate-nerd the log in details to live tweet about whatever network he was last on's SFF programming for marketing and the engagement went well, and the guys been left in charge to post in an area that Bill and his management team are barely aware of.

Really? The stuff I've seen of online interactions is that he's settled into owning his reputation as a chromium era hack, akin to Shatner owning being a smug ham.
Shatner is also a huge dick, though.
Right—that's my point. It's the self-awareness and playing it with it.
No, I mean he's a real, genuinely awful person who plays up to MAGA and alt-right sexism in nerd culture on twitter. Like, "I will not be sad when he dies" level dick.
Oh! I was not aware of that. I recall him making some sexist comment a few years ago, but I wasn't aware he'd gone to the MAGA side of things.
For Liefeld's part (this is also on Twitter), he's reaching Byrne levels of assholery. Dumping on other artists/writers and the like. He also got booted from or acrimoniously resigned his position (I can't recall which) on the Image board many years ago as I recall. I think he's back now though.

That's curious because my understanding was that he was, perhaps not humble or modest, but comfortable with his hack status and plays it up. Apparently I've been misled.

I'm sure it's possible to do both.

Elvis and Stan Lee, alive and well, having coffee and doughnuts.

A senses-shattering conversation, regardless.

Elvis is probably yelling about how Stan and company stole the name Captain Marvel from his favorite hero. “I just don’t care for Freddy bein’ “Shazam, Jr.” Mr. Lee.”

When do Dr. Fate and Hourman get a movie?

I’m pretty sure Dr. Fate’s actually in the next Shazam sequel. He’s a fairly mainstream DC character.

His superpower (unless I’m forgetting it) is he takes a pill and has superpowers for exactly an hour, and buddy there are more cost effective highs.
