The early seasons came out when I was in college and me and my friends thought they were a hoot. very much that "get stoned and watch with your dorm mates" vibe. But the basic premise has a pretty short shelf life, I tuned out after a couple of years.Kory wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 4:36pmI really don't understand the appeal of ATHF.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 3:50pmVenture Bros is getting to do a proper finale: https://tv.avclub.com/the-venture-bros- ... 1846874279

yeah. The first season or so is very funny. But it just kept going.Flex wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 5:29pmThe early seasons came out when I was in college and me and my friends thought they were a hoot. very much that "get stoned and watch with your dorm mates" vibe. I will also say that, as an NFL Watcher, Carl's Stone Cold Lock[s] of the Century of the Week were extremely funny back when they were doing those.

Same, I never tried too hard but it never seemed worth it. I could go for some Moral Orel though.Kory wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 4:36pmI really don't understand the appeal of ATHF.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 3:50pmVenture Bros is getting to do a proper finale: https://tv.avclub.com/the-venture-bros- ... 1846874279

Oh good gravy, Ben Reilly is a solid character who I'm glad was resurrected, but recycling a quarter-century-old idea that *lots* of people hated the first time is beyond dumb.

I like Reilly, hate the Clone Saga. I stopped reading spandex comics because of the writing at the time.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 Jun 2021, 4:42pmhttps://www.cbr.com/ben-reilly-spider-m ... ker-death/

Onslaught was the other one for me. Re-reading it now, it's not actually that bad, but that's all retrospect.Wolter wrote: ↑25 Jun 2021, 12:49pmThis was one of several nails in the coffin for me for nearly a decade.Kory wrote: ↑25 Jun 2021, 12:48pmI like Reilly, hate the Clone Saga.
