I don't understand why anyone should feel sorry for me. If anything, feel sorry for his family. They were never the same. His older brother disappeared into gang life and hasn't been heard from in years, his parents divorced, and his dad declared bankruptcy. Last time I checked, he lives in Brazil someplace.

I mean, yeah, it sucked that my best friend died when I was 12. I'd known him for 6 years. It was devastating. But I'm alive. It's rather selfish to feel sorry for me.
