What kind? Did you ever try butter? I've done that before and it seemed to have worked, but I noticed Butters gets off the taste pretty fast for some reason.
My recollection is we gave him pumpkin puree—*not* pumpkin pie mix, which has stuff in it that is not helpful—and sometimes mixed in a powdered laxative.
I tried giving him pumpkin. He no likey. I think I'm going to play around with his food. He's okay with diet changes unlike his sister who doesn't even like treats. What kind of cat doesn't like treats?
Last week at the pet store, I picked up some promo cat treats that are kind of rubbery. The girls were fine, Luke was confused and couldn't figure out how to chew them. Second day, the girls said no as well. Sigh.
Cats, man. smh
I regularly tell them that they wouldn't last 2 hours on the street. They look at me with what seems like agreement but unconcern.

Hello,

This has some good ones (Marky, these guys are challenging you!). I guess it should go here. I just read the signs, not the article.

I could rise to the occasion but it would be like flogging a dead horse.

Just to show that my bark is not worse than my bite...oh wait I've got butterflies in my stomach now.

Ok you've only got yourself to blame.

I went 45 years without being a dog owner until last May when we adopted our first dog. I quickly discovered that I'm a dog person. Well, we took the plunge and gave him a little sister last weekend. Say hello to Calypso, who is a 3 year old Pocket Pit. She is a ball of energy, but a real sweetheart.

Fantastic! Poor little girl had to wait so long to find her people, but at least she got lucky in finding excellent humans.

Like our other guy, she's from Texas. The story we heard is that she was living near a school and that the teachers and students would feed her. She was rescued and brought to Wisconsin, where they found out she was going to have puppies. The delivery nearly killed her (they were too big), but now she's landed in a very cushy spot.

Poor little girl. This is why I can't ever look at stuff related to dogs and, especially, cats needing homes. I want everyone to have a happy ending and get sad that it can't happen.
