VH and I just went to Miami to stay with my uncle for a few days and his dog is 15 years old. He still gets around well, but when we left, all I could think about was that I will probably never see him again. I hate it when pets get old.

I’ve started following the cats section on Reddit so I can see adorable kittens. Unfortunately it’s also lots of people saying goodbye to their old friends. Very difficult to see.

All of the animal groups I'm in on Facebook (guinea pigs, betta) seem to be trending the same. It's so sad.

When you're a goddamned troublemaker 75% of the time, you need to pull off these moments to stay in your people's good graces.

Nobody enjoys their existence like Luke. Easily the happiest cat we've ever had.

We had a couple old window sill perches that didn't work with our house, so I bought some folding brackets and attached them to the door. When you need to open the door, just unlock the bracket. Super duper easy and the cats get another window to the world (and delivery people get to say hi at the front door).

Sorry, one more photo. I fired up a video of birds and squirrels on YouTube for Zoë. Totally rapt.

I had to do a double take to see exactly how many cats were in the picture.
