Pets.
Who has them?
What do you have?
What do you want?
We have like, four cats. One is a stray (We called him Setzer. Cos our humour is top)
One of them is mine. Cos I bought him and looked after him. He's an affectionate little bugger and sits/perches on my shoulder when I'm on the computer. Unfortunately I think he's a Coldplay fan.
There's also a fox who comes into our garden, I feed him and he lets me stroke him. And if he can be bothered he'll play with the cats sometimes or follow them through the catflap.

Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead...

Re: Pets.
He used to screech at them and I don't know if you've ever heard a fox scream, but it's absolutely blood-curdling. Especially if you don't know what it is.
We life in the city so we're not really used to it.
Anyway, he used to be so horrible to them but they all seem to get on now. It's really interesting.

Wait, I thought we were... supposed to do that. Out of revenge or something. I dunno. I just try and follow Bernie's teachings as often as possible.Still216 wrote:Rule #1 of IMCT Pet Ownership - don't put the cat among the pigeons
Oh, and I have an old dog I got from the animal shelter some years prior.
Re: Pets.
When I was a teenager, we had a bunch of foxes in the woods next to our house. They would come out into our yard and cry at all hours of the night. Sounds like a baby. Really creepy.MadModWorld wrote:He used to screech at them and I don't know if you've ever heard a fox scream, but it's absolutely blood-curdling. Especially if you don't know what it is.

Anyway. One night I awoke to a gunshot and found my dad in his underwear on the back deck with a .22 rifle picking them off at the fenceline. They didn't come around anymore after that.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
Re: Pets.
I think everyone has seen ours, but here they are again. And they are, of course, both rescues.

Butters and Licorice:
Both feral born.
Kitty, their mother, has blossomed into a very affectionate, fun-loving outdoor (albeit still feral) cat. The best thing of all: She can't have anymore kitties. Yay.
