Re: Pets.
We have a house call to put Tito down in a couple hours, he's 17. Hasn't eaten in days, can't walk, all he can do is shift. Still purrs when we pet him. My heart is broken, I feel like a murderer.

I'm sorry, man. I've been there and had the same feelings. Your head knows you're doing the right thing, but when your heart tells you that you're responsible for his well-being and happiness, it messes with your head. But he's lived a charmed life—17 years with people who love his ass no matter what he does. We should all be so lucky. Being willing to say goodbye is the final, most sincere act of that love.

Re: Pets.
What you're doing is the greatest act of love. Went through it twice last year. Still hurts, but it was never the wrong decision. Please take care of yourself. Tito knows he's loved.

I'm so fucking sorry man, that sucks. You know in your head you're doing the right thing, but the heart will never agree. Hang in there.

I'm so sorry, Tep. You are doing an immense kindness for him. You are setting him free of his suffering. I have no doubt that you gave him an amazing life.
Got a Rake? Sure!

Re: Pets.
This is Jack. He's from a litter of four stray kittens that we're looking after. Jack developed a wicked eye infection before we were able to bring him indoors that led to a ruptured eyeball. Anyway, we got him to the vet & the bad eye removed. Now he's coned up & in a separate room until next Friday when the stitches come out. The other three kittens are healthy & we're working with our vet to find homes for them but we'll be keeping Jack. Our other threes cats (Pie, Katerina & Hopper) know something's up and maybe they're all right with it. We'll see. So will Jack. With one eye.

Thank you for caring enough to try to save the little guys life instead of giving up on him!JoseUnidos wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025, 5:13pmThis is Jack. Looks like he's got some big paws on him, might be a big boy once he's fully grown.
