Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop

Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
I've got a bunch of maples so they look really great as they change colors...and honestly they look nice once they've fallen (entire yard is covered with yellow and orange leaves), but then they dry up and I have to clear them. I bring everything out: rake, leaf blower, lawn mower (to mulch). They get moved to the street and the village comes by and sucks them up to turn into mulch.revbob wrote: ↑12 Oct 2019, 9:14amYeah I mainly have oak trees, the leaves are boring (no vibrant colors) and the back yard gets blanketed in them.WestwayKid wrote: ↑11 Oct 2019, 4:08pmI have a lot of big trees in my yard. They're great in summer because they help keep the house cool, but come fall they dump a ton of leaves on the ground.

Jesus Christ, I did nothing physically strenuous yesterday but presumably because of stress and generally being a giant balled fist yesterday, today I am sooo fucking sore. Feel like I've been in a car wreck.
I'm so punk, I don't even take my leather jacket off when it catches fire. Which it does frequently, because of how fucking punk I am.

The death of Halloween and Thanksgiving saddens me. The religious assholes and corporations wanting us all to focus on a longer shopping season....sickens me.
