I guess this gives new meaning to "motherly love".

I had to Google it because I couldn't believe it was a real product, Amazon sells it, so I guess that's about as real as it gets. Yuk!
I can 100% guarantee my mother would never have used that on me or any of my siblings.
If this is a measure of love then I was not loved and neither were my children.
I told the Boss about this. Her mother was a nurse and she assured me that it would require a serious emergency for her to suck snot out of her kids' noses.
I have a friend with some appropriate aged kids and he said he's actually used it.
Forget it. I'd be grabbing a turkey baster instead. Ugh!

Yeah - when VH, Jr. was a baby, all of the sanctimonious mommy bloggers said this was the only way you can love your child.

I used the bulb sucker and my kid is fine.

One day … one day he will come to you, his eyes darkened and his upper lip in a curl you'd never seen before, and tell you with an unnerving calm voice: "If you loved me, you would have sucked up my mucous."

From the neighborhood forum...
Did you purchase chicks (or Turkeys or ducklings) this spring? Are you willing to collect and donate a quart-size freezer bag of soiled bedding material for scientific research? Full-grown chicken bedding also welcome.

And how did the nurse respond to the doctor?

For the first time ever, the Boss figured out how to reconfigure the tv and sound bar when going from cable to AppleTV. Her reaction: "I'm liberated now. I'm a feminist."
