Just remember: even doc medulla can smile (i mean, we've never seen, it, but i think he's claimed to have done it before). that's gotta be worth some humanity points, eh?
It's not my fault that cameras murder my smile.

I'm so sorry, RNRW. I wish I had words of wisdom or comfort, but just know I'm thinking about you and your coworker.

Every outside surface here is covered in a layer of greenish-yellow pollen.

In addition to all the pollen there was a massive hatch of some sort of caterpillars that dropped down from the trees on strings of silk that are also everywhere. I think they show in this pic. That isn't spider webs.

Ugh, I remember in the mid-80s, Saskatchewan had a horrible outbreak of tent caterpillars. Those fuckers and their webs were fucking everywhere. It was wretched. And they devoured tree leaves like crazy. I hope that's not what you're dealing with because your summer will be officially ruined.

No it's not them. Those were some banner years for them I remember at night when it was quiet you could hear the damn things devouring the trees and shitting. I remember middle of the summer and almost all the trees were bare.

Fucking terrible. I assume you went thru the experience of banding trees with insulation, tape, and goo to trap the moths from climbing to cocoon?
