I'm in the middle of reading this article about the Adidas Samba and I can't tell if it's satire: https://archive.ph/uy6gC
Thanks, I hated it.

(I've been a samba wearer for years and no one has stopped me and congratulated me on my trendsetting, the bastards)
But have they called you out for being a late adopter? What does it MEAN to wear this shoe?

Hello,

Sambas were - and still are - pretty good indoor soccer shoes. That's how they started. I used to wear them in college playing indoor - after they were worn out, you would just polish over the stripes (there were only black with white stripes) and the shoes were very good for going out. You wanted the ones with the high, wide tongue as those were kangaroo leather - really comfortable and gave a good touch of the ball. I still have 2 pairs - pretty worn out now - I'll sometimes wear them on the few times I go out.

So I was at a gathering today...someone brought a type of chicken patty. I had part of one and found 3 bones before I threw in the towel. WTF who manages to do that. I serve people food all the time and I would be fucking mortified to serve someone such sub par food. It doesnt need to be fancy just dont try and kill the people you're making food for. My wife is basically blaming me for not throwing it out right away.

You're gonna have to explain a little more, I think. The chicken had bones? What's the issue?

There should be no bones in this.

As far as Adidas goes, I preferred the now out-of-production Dragons. I'm wearing Noras now. I like something with a less obvious sole, it's more trim and going places.
