Any geologists out there?
It's a good crack.
Its a spot along the lake shore where you can clearly see two different layers of rock one on top of the other. Picture doesn't do it justice its really cool to see in person.

There's no winning an argument with her.

My son was taking the more strict textbook version while my wife was arguing that things lile universal healthcare and higher education were socialist programs/ideas. The discussion started with Germany and I gave my experiences with German culture which was drinking at a German themed bar in Japan for over a month and working with condescending German engineers. He asked me about working with French engineers which then devolved into racist French policies amd comparison s between the French election win of Macron over LePen in comparison to the Trump and the past 2 US presidential elections and then my wife arguing for a general superior French intellect (not her words). I extracted myself and let the vfc two of them have at it

Today's topic went from art which morphed into French colonialism, its defeat in Haiti, how the high school French teacher had books promoting the benevolence of French colonialism in Africa, US imperialism/
Interventionism the destabilization of Libya/Qaddafi assassination and ultimately my son asking me (largely a bystander up to this point) why Irish people hate Margaret Thatcher so much.
