I'm watching Laverne and Shirley. I love this show (the early years, at least). But there's this episode where Shirley is coming onto Richie Cunningham...who is still in high school. Ick. Isn't it weird how we all thought this was okay at the time?
I recently watched an episode of Happy Days, the Fonz wrong on so many levels 😳
Oh, I know. Don't even get me started on Arthur Fonzarelli.
If you believe film and TV the 1950’s was all about sexually assaulting cheerleaders in drive-Ins.
And movies from even earlier. It's like men couldn't control themselves. At all.

You wouldn't want to be here today. It's 20 degrees and snowing and the roads are absolute garbage!?

That shit is heading our way. Due to get around a foot in the next 24 hours. I just got the snowblower running I was worried this would be the year it fails me.

The forecast here is for 10 cm or so today and overnight. Not a huge amount, but at least a month early.

Mine broke at the end of last winter - hit something - broke the shear pins and found they were literally stuck in the axle. I did everything I could to get them out, but it's just not fun working on cold metal when the temp is below freezing. I swore I'd fix it properly over the summer, but of course I kept putting it off. I finally did it about 3 weeks ago and caught maybe the last semi warm Saturday afternoon of the year.

We didn't get any snow until mid-January last year - which was really weird - but when it finally came we got dumped on again and again and again. It became one of those winters where the snow was so high I started running out of places to put it.

Same here. I don't think I had to shovel until after Christmas, and then we got hit hard, like three times in a bit over a week. The biggest snow piles in our yard since I was a kid

It took me about a decade to get completely sick of snow (I barely saw it growing up), but I’m definitely over it now.

I love snow during Good Winter (the two months leading up to Xmas), but hate it during Bad Winter (January and February).

Ha, ha - yes! This is exactly true! In Wisconsin, however, Bad Winter is extended through March. The snow isn't bothering me that much right now, but the fact that it was 7 degrees F when I went to work this morning is not great.

Im far less tolerant of winter these days and November is definitely a bad winter month. I can be okay with Dec and a little January. March and April usually suck here too with a few odd nice days. We wont really see nice weather until the end of May.
