Coincidence - I found a battered headset at work, the same as people use when taking calls in the office. I could plug this in, listen to albums and YouTube and work without being bothered. The headset's basic brokenness fucked about with the distortion levels, so when I streamed a Chuck Berry live compilation, it was bone disintegratingly rocking. I put the speed up to 1.25 to really punk Ol' Chuck up and after the first three predictable smash hit picks, it slunk straight into My Ding-A-Ling. Even in that platonic form, that song sucked.

I recall reading that "My Ding-a-Ling" was CB's only #1 single. Which is pure cosmic joke.

News report on the lack fuel due to a lack of lorry drivers. The BBC sent this guy along to do the report. Seriously you couldn't make this shit up if you tried.

Out and about tonight and wound up in a place where there was some live music gonna happen at an outdoor space at a local hotel. Its a duo and they were doing their soundcheck and some dbag was playing Phil Collins on their phone. I had to shout out and shame them to turn that shit off.

Good thing they didn't have him do a report about something to do with the LGBTQ community. [/rimshot]

Does anybody else think oh no a pedophile when the ice cream man drives down the street?
No, but we often have a guy drive around in a truck saying he'll sharpen knives and axes and stuff. Which … that can't be a successful business model so I assume he's a really obvious serial killer.
