Oh absolutely especially if the store is playing something good/interesting and it past days maybe even have a cool conversation with a cute store clerk or fellow customer.Kory wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 4:01pmIt's a comforting place to be, same with a comic/bookstore. I like just going in and hanging out even if I'm not going to buy anything.revbob wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021, 5:34pmIm still very much a physical media person and love thumbing thru the racks.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021, 5:27pmRadical!
Going off physical product—unless I'm buying directly from the artist—means I have zero interest in going to record stores anymore. Just one of those things where another option has meant what used to hypnotize me just doesn't hold any appeal now. What sucks is there is no music store there anymore. It wasa crappy one when there was one but you could sometimes find something good there.

Remember that Alternative Tentacles hat I have? Its about 25 years old and I have pictures of both my kids wearing it at some point. It was known as the bat hat. It is a cherished family heirloom that will be passed along on y passing. Unless my wife throws it out first.

The Boss knows not to throw out anything of mine, especially stuff from the 20th century. The idea of throwing out clothing just runs against my thinking. I've done it, but it seems wrong.revbob wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 6:29pmRemember that Alternative Tentacles hat I have? Its about 25 years old and I have pictures of both my kids wearing it at some point. She bought me a hat once presumably because the ones I have are somehow unacceptable.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 7:55pmThe Boss knows not to throw out anything of mine, especially stuff from the 20th century. My Sox hat is a mottled grey from 15 years of sun and sweat. I know that she'd like me to toss it, but my baby's almost ready for university!revbob wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 8:15pmShe bought me a hat once presumably because the ones I have are somehow unacceptable.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 7:55pmThe Boss knows not to throw out anything of mine, especially stuff from the 20th century. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
I hate this time of year. That is all.
Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
Ack, sorry for the confusion. I forgot we're in *that* time of year. I actually like Christmas, mostly for the decorations.
