What's rocking a Walkman "like a rebel"? Pretty sure I never did that anyway, nor blasted a boom box on my shoulder because, why would I ever want to do that?
Everything I do is like a rebel. Rocking my walkman, eating asparagus, folding my laundry. Everything.
That's revolting.

We had an encyclopedia, but I have never used a paper map for directions.

If I'm away somewhere I will still pick up a paper map out of habit but I have a longstanding aversion to asking directions for some reason.

It's next to impossible to find paper maps now. I think I still have a road atlas stowed away in a box.

I would still expect them to be available in hotel lobbies but yeah could be hit and miss these days alright.

Despite being a millennial, I'm a 20/20 on that little exercise, btw. I still use paper maps on road trips. Can't trust the internet, imho.

I believe I mentioned elsewhere that I am completely shameless.

19 out of 20, so I guess I'm considered ancient now. Never owned an encyclopedia set.

**Edited** I misread the instructions, it was 1 point for each think you've never done, so I'm actually 1/20.
Hello,

Okay, I've pretty much done all of these but with qualifications. Here goes:

#1 - I still have a rotary phone (it's a really ancient cool one from 1946) although not functioning. I used to be able to wire rotary or touchtone phones into outlets that weren't mine. If I still had a landline, I'd wire up that ancient phone - it's so heavy, it's fun.
#3 - I rarely used a real or electric typewriter because I suck at typing (keyboarding).
#6 - yeah, all the time. I bought really cheap cassette players.
#8 - I had several walkman (walkmen?) but never "rocked like a rebel" - if you "rock a walkman like a rebel", you are definitely not a rebel.
#9 - I had a boombox but never put it on my shoulder - I was more of a hip man. If you never had a boombox blasting Radio Clash while walking through a shady neighborhood, you've missed something cool.
#10 - I watched a lot of VHS tapes but never prayed they wouldn't jam.
#13 - If you rented stuff from Blockbuster on a Friday night, your social life sucked.
#20 - I never knew anyone who had a complete set of encyclopedia volumes.

Never used a pencil to rewind a cassette but used my finger to move the little gears. Why would you need to rewind it anyway if you didn’t have a tape player in which case you’d just rewind with that?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
