If you all want to feel old, VH, Jr. started high school on Monday.
You guys are going to be "empty nesters" in a few years!
Ugh.
"Hon, I bought us an RV. We're going to follow Chickenfoot around the country."
VH would NEVER say this. He'd refer to them as "The Foot"
Who was the IMCT-er that we have to thank for this knowledge? Was it Still216 that saw them?
And yes Jenny, I feel old as shit now.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

You two can convert his room in to your "naked room", just like in the movie "Failure To Launch".
I am thankfully not familiar with this.
And I couldn't find a video link to share it.
Terry Bradshaw plays the father, when the son comes to visit Terry is nude in his sons former bedroom and informs him that this is now his "naked room".

So son texts on Thursday asking if he can come home Friday as he isn't feeling too well. We get him home yesterday. He's super congested and sounds awful. I take him to the Saturday morning walk in clinic and turns out he has mono and covid. WTF?

Oh shit! I hope he shakes thiss off quickly.
Im worried. My daughter got it in 4th or 5th grade. She missed school for May and June and continued to be plagued by fatigue all summer.

Yikes. Coincidentally, about a half hour ago I read a story where medical professionals are predicting a significant new wave of covid infections this fall. If he doesn't turn around within a week, I'd look into getting a medical deferral for this term. First year can be tough enough, but catching up after a few weeks plus recovering from illness can be really challenging. Better for him to concentrate on getting better, plus not having compromised grades on his transcript.

Shit, sorry Bob (and sorry for your son, talk about a rough way to start out the next phase of things).

Yeah this is what my brother suggested (he speaks from experience)
