No not a PB it was a championship record (I.e. done whilst actually competing in championships) it is like an Olympic record v world record, has to be done on the day.
In fact her opening height when she joined the competition was already over the old record.
Was a great result as the weather on the day wasn’t good (very windy) and she had been sick all week with a virus.
Haven’t see a video yet but will post a link if I find one.
Thanks 101. I realised that PBs and championship records aren't necessarily linked, it was just with her breaking the senior record too that I thought she might have beaten her own PB.Still brilliant!
Hopefully next week at the World University Games in Naples!!!

Don’t care if it is getting boring but I am stuck on a plane between Sydney and Auckland and need to tell someone
50.5W just smashed the Qualifying round and made it through to the final of the World University Games in Naples
Worst she can do now is top 12!!!!

10th place at World Uni Games
This was against a quality field containing several experienced International vaulters who will be at Olympics next year.
Not bad for an 18 year old who has only been at Uni for 1 semester and was the youngest in the field.
