That was fun.
I was disappointed only that it omitted Roger and Mona's daughter, Margaret, who's absurdly beautiful.
That's because she's living in upstate New York at hippie commune.

One of the very few good hippies. Or beautiful ones.

Ang Greg Harris (did I miss him?), because he is also insanely beautiful.

I keep meaning to share this. The Boss has this up in her office (found it on Etsy).

The Boss is on a train right now, heading to the Big City (i.e., Toronto) and is sitting across from, in her words, a boor. He's with his, presumably, wife and daughter. He's talking very loudly, taking phone calls, Zoom calls, ordering for drinks for himself and his wife (i.e., telling her what she'll be drinking). She's trying to shush him but he ain't havin' it. It reminded me a bit of this scene. I love how Don let's the guys know they're being boors without making matters worse for the woman by flatly acknowledging it. It's one of those little moves that establish Don as an alpha.

I'm currently doing another rewatch and just realized that Don was so Alpha (with a capital a) that Pete could only salivate. Don't know why I didn't notice that before.

I feel bad for your wife. Did she injure herself from rolling her eyes so much?

Pete has the misfortune to come armed with a family name at a time when that was an increasingly weaker currency. Don had the goods up front, a reminder to Pete that he came as far *only* because of his name.

She's not a confrontational person, so she's getting relief by texting me about it. I told her to slip the woman a note that says, "You could do so much better."

Minor justice report: The Boss tells me that the boor and his family missed their stop.

edit: This might be my most quotable moment from the series.

I assume he blamed his wife for it or something.

She didn't say anything about it, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Peggy acts out ever chump's fantasy here. It's not the money per se, but she's exposed to Roger the limits of his power as a boss.
