I actually fell asleep last night whilst replying to Tom's post. I woke up freezing on the sofa with the phrase "gotter aghjjgnghm" typed out on my phone but not posted.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Of course, at this point you two communicate telepathically in a mysterious quasi-language known as awfulian.Heston wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 6:01pmI actually fell asleep last night whilst replying to Tom's post. I have a sudden craving for ouzo. If it continues into tomorrow, I'll be buying a bottle.

Hmm haven't had that in forever. What's a good brand? I had some Greek friends years and years ago and they always just had it.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 7:03pmI have a sudden craving for ouzo. If it continues into tomorrow, I'll be buying a bottle.

I've only bought two or three bottles in my life, so I have no idea what good from bad is. But I am a ravenous liquorice fan.revbob wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 7:17pmHmm haven't had that in forever. Used to enjoy an Ouzo session in Greece, I always found getting drunk on Ouzo was more like getting high than.... drunk.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 7:19pmI've only bought two or three bottles in my life, so I have no idea what good from bad is. Interesting. It's fascinating how different alcohols produce different states. The reason I love wine is that it consistently produces the mellowest experience. No alcohol mellows me like wine.101Walterton wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 7:57pmUsed to enjoy an Ouzo session in Greece, I always found getting drunk on Ouzo was more like getting high than.... drunk.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 7:19pmI've only bought two or three bottles in my life, so I have no idea what good from bad is. Um, the former? The latter? Liquor tends to produce a more energetic mood—chattier, more weird thoughts that I want to act on. Beer is somewhat neutral in effect. But wine creates a kind of peace. Everything is just fine when I'm drinking wine.101Walterton wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 8:19pmDrink enough Ouzo and it is like an acid trip .....apparentlyDr. Medulla wrote: ↑15 Mar 2020, 8:06pmInteresting.
