Seriously. When I lived there in the late 90s, I was the most ethnic person there aside from Karl Malone.

(What crime did you commit that sentenced you to Utah?)
I went out there to live with my ex (the Paranormal Activity guy).
i didn't know you moved there for him. That makes the relationship even more tragic. Now what the hell was he doing out there?
He was a computer programmer - lots of tech companies there at the time.
Did you at least get some good skiing in?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

utah is a pretty great state. lots of good outdoors and skiing and such, and SLC has loosened up a LOT in the last decade or two. It's on the short list of places outside Colorado both me and the missus could agree to move to. There's still some real weirdness in areas, especially remote rural communities, but there's a lot that's attractive about the state now too.

Thank you. I would have been mildly annoyed if it went unnoticed.

SLC has a decent aquarium, as I recall.

OY.

In all seriousness, that's a myth! A hilarious myth, but a myth nonetheless!
