My mom would tell you I'm one of the all-time greats. I just don't use it at work because I want to keep my job that I barely tolerate.
Damned quasi-millennial. Actual Xers have something approaching principles!
X-ers care about things? Seems like that leaves them open to attacks.
We're care very much about apathy. It's ironic. Which we also care about.
Irony was big with millennials too. At least that value got passed along. We ruined it with waxed mustaches and "funny" clothes though.
My punk seminar students have tried to assert that their generation is all about irony, but I've never quite bought it, like it seemed a bit too affected rather than a genuine flight away from sincerity. That said, as much as I'm reflexively and cynically ironic, I find it one of Xers' least attractive qualities.

I agree that it's affected, largely (I assume) the result of needing validation from other people online.

Do you need to sell your blood, jizz, and bone marrow to get this?

Oh shit, thanks for posting this, I actually might. Simon Gallup has one too, and I've lusted after it for ages but it previously was a custom job.

I did recently get a Yamaha SG1500, which is a slight modification on McGeoch's primary guitar. It's heavy but it sounds amazing.

Is that a good price? I have no idea about that stuff.

Let's just say I'd be willing to pay it. I'd like to play it in person though, I'll have to see if I can get one of my shops to get one in.

Well, I hope you get it then if it'd make you happy. Lemme know if you're a bit short—I'd be happy to help.

So, you could play "Think Tank" or "Luck's Up" on that?

Oh thanks, much appreciated! I'm still trying to decide if I want to go for it. The main issue is finding room for it and how much I would actually use it.
