Funny story—I had tickets to see them in LA on the XXI tour. It got postponed, but I already had my plane tickets with some friends, so I went anyway, and then I returned about 6 months later to see the actual show. Really drove home the risk involved in traveling for shows, though I've done it a few more times since then. But Liz and Horace Andy were both there, it was spectacular. Plus I got to check the last of the Bristol Trinity off my live list.

So you don't feel obliged to make a journey now to see them?

If they were coming closer to the west coast I would consider it, but I'm already going to be in AZ for all those dates. I have been longing to be in NY again though, it's just inconvenient timing.

Yeah I think I mentioned the same thing happened the year that I saw them. Either a visa issue or notable recluse Fraser getting cold feet?

Is visa stuff not taken care of before a tour is announced? Wouldn't a promoter want that stuff assured in advance?

I would think so, but it does seem to happen with some frequency. That's bureaucracy for you I guess.

It might have gotten worse post Brexit?

That makes a great deal of sense now that you mention it. That must really rankle for such a political group.

Hmmm, brexit keeping Morrissey out of my country definitely puts it in the "so who's to say if it's good or bad" territory

Well he already lives here, so you'd need trump and his plan to deport everyone. Which morrissey ironically would agree with.
