Fucks sake, that's worse than room temperature.101Walterton wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:45pmI’ll eat leftover beans cold from the fridge.Heston wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:41pmBaked beans? Cold? I keep leftover beans in the fridge I’m not going to warm them to room temperature like a red wineHeston wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:52pmFucks sake, that's worse than room temperature.101Walterton wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:45pmI’ll eat leftover beans cold from the fridge.Heston wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:41pmBaked beans? Hot or nothing but straight out of the fridge is borderline psychotic.101Walterton wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:54pmI keep leftover beans in the fridge I’m not going to warm them to room temperature like a red wineHeston wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:52pmFucks sake, that's worse than room temperature.101Walterton wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:45pmI’ll eat leftover beans cold from the fridge.Heston wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:41pmBaked beans? I find they're more flavourful that way than heated up. They're perfectly fine heated up, but not as good.Heston wrote: ↑23 May 2020, 7:41pmBaked beans? Cold? Eating cold beans is not the grossest thing I’ve heard but it’s not plan A either.

When I was a-hoboing on the L&N, we had to have our beans cold and straight from the can, with a spoon I done whittled myself. Once the beans were done, we could always throw the can at some railroad bull as a distraction.

Yeah, cold beans in a salad are fine. It's cold baked beans in tomato sauce I have an issue with.

Good days, eh flannel mouth? Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
BTW, I was very disappointed when we moved here to learn that the French don't call hobos "les hobeaux" (with h silent, of course). This came about because the original place we rented was across from a small park frequented by junkies who liked to sing French folk songs. We started calling it Hobo Park, which led to me calling it Hobeaux Park, then being told by a francophone friend that that's not a French word. Such a fat pitch over the plate missed.

Perhaps she meant Park.
