Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing pictures in this thread of what people have made to eat in their own homes, some of the fare I've never seen before having lived in the US all of my life. It's the people who need to post excessive, gluttonous amounts of food that I'm pretty sure is going to go to waste, no way they'll finish the meal, that just kind of bugs me.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 6:26pmFood is utilitarian for me. Oh yeah, for me who like that stuff, sure, that's great. I mean that I look at a picture of food and it literally has no effect on me. I have no appreciation for the aesthetics. It's a dead zone in my brain (right beside free form jazz and auto racing).Sparky wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 6:57pmDon't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing pictures in this thread of what people have made to eat in their own homes, some of the fare I've never seen before having lived in the US all of my life. I don't care about food unless I'm the one eating it.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Except the name. Fish Sticks or Aqua Strips, please. I hate the word "finger."

WTF is on the other piece of bread?
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
The best pizza ever from the local takeaway. Chicken tikka, onions, loads of garlic and coriander with plenty of green chillies to add. Expensive but amazing.
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Im slow cooking some ribs today.
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
What do you use? BBQ, smoker or?? I have an offset smoker, we enjoy doing ribs but as I'm sure you're aware, it's an all day job. End result is always worth it though.

I dont have a smoker i just do them on my regular grill at 200 for several hours. I keep my eye on it though (drunk beer and listen to music). I'll be active tomorrow.
