Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.

You have to skin them first.
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
I just slathered some apricot jam and dijon mustard on a turkey sandwich, and by golly that is a good combo.

Since I work for a foodservice company with a full restaurant kitchen in our office...we've been trying to keep things festive by making lunch for the staff this week. Reuben sandwiches on Tuesday and grilled cheese today. We'll probably keep this up as long as everything continues to suck.

I made the beer bread yesterday and it was delicious. A little dense, even with sifting flour, but what a great taste. Any tips on keeping it fresh tasting?

Let me know if anyone wants some discount invites to Home Chef. I actually started ordering from them pre-pandemic and it's good quality, easy to make meals and scalable as needed. Affiliated with Kroger, I believe. But this week it was a way more reliable way to get some produce and some meats than our supermarket. I get a discount for signing folks up too so it's win/win for trying to limit trips to the grocery store. Just send me a PM and I can send you an invite.

That's my go to for a roast beef sandwich. There's this English guy who has a decent sandwich shop. But he doesn't carry horseradish. He's always going I can do mustard. And to me they ain't the same thing and Im not ordering a hot dog.
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Has to be proper mustard, not that mild stuff that's popular on your hot dogs. Colmans mustard is the best, proper English mustard, only need a small amount as any more burns your nostrils!
Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
This is my go to mustard, not mild at all. I hate the plain yellow shit.BitterTom wrote: ↑19 Mar 2020, 4:22pmHas to be proper mustard, not that mild stuff that's popular on your hot dogs. Colmans mustard is the best, proper English mustard, only need a small amount as any more burns your nostrils!

Nice. Over here we have Tewkesbury mustard which is essentially the same as your go to by the looks of it, a blend of mustard flour and grated horseradish, best of both worlds.revbob wrote: ↑19 Mar 2020, 4:35pmThis is my go to mustard, not mild at all.
