I eased up on the grilling for a bit while winter was kicking our asses but today had a hint of spring with 40 degrees F.
This should last a few days.

Did roast pork with all the trimmings yesterday and was great. Though the leftover sandwiches with picallicii today are even better.

You mean the picalici or whatever that word is? Ive never heard of it.
I did a roast chicken again last night. Ive been doing these almost weekly for several months now but will likely stop once it gets too warm (May or June) to roast them in the house. I shall have to try doing it on the grill. I love having the while house smell of that chicken roasting with the rosemary as you wait for it to be done. Will get a second dinner out of it tonight.

Despite it looking like lumpy pus, it's the perfect sandwich lubricant.

From googling only, it sounds like if you added mustard to giardiniera, which is a Chicago-area favorite.
And to be honest, that sounds like it could work just fine.
