There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Fun fact: That was the working title for Mull of Kintyre.

I hate those fucking things. Food should be functional.

i actively dislike "novelty" hamburgers that are functionally un-eatable in their natural state.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

In the 21st century, food must be photographable and provide a sense of accomplishment. Nutrition is, like, 19th century.

Don't you just crush the burger until it fits in your mouth? I've never had a burger too big for my mouth.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I don't get the thing where people feel the need to show pictures and boast about what their eating on social media, especially when it's clearly in excess of what would constitute a normal meal. I mean come on, there are people starving in most every country, mine included, a burger like that could feed a family, why waste it on a photo op?Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 4:54pmIn the 21st century, food must be photographable and provide a sense of accomplishment. Food is utilitarian for me. I can't appreciate the value of a photo. It just means zilcho to me.Sparky wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 4:58pmI don't get the thing where people feel the need to show pictures and boast about what their eating on social media, especially when it's clearly in excess of what would constitute a normal meal.
