Shit load of veg in a stir fry with oyster sauce, tasty and my guts will thank me for it.

Bulgur wheat salad for tea, full of chilli and garlic. Delicious. Despite my job, I've been trying to go meat free more often, seems to work for me health wise. The farm shop I work at stocks a fairly good veggie/vegan range so will keep my eye open from now on.

Any excuse to talk about you and your nuts.

Ya gotta be proud of something. These particular nuts have sesame oil and peri peri spice. My nuts and beer are the real American Dream.

Tonight’s nuts: cashews tossed with sesame oil, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt.

Cloves make me want to throw up. My wife will sometimes slip some into her cooking. I smell it right off though.

Sorry to hear that. How about nutmeg and/or pimento?

Last nights cashew were tossed with honey, chili powder, and salt. A winning combination.

Since we can’t rely on family members and I am the only cook in the house, I finally caved and asked my mother in law for a latke recipe for Hanukkah. I absolutely nailed it, like a mensch.

Nice. I once had latkes prepared by Ben Cohen (the ice cream guy). They were magnificent.
