Ugh, looks like we got about 8 inches of snow last night. First significant snowfall of the year here that won’t melt on its own in a week. I’m about to plunge into it with the snowblower for about an hour and a half. Maybe I’ll get lucky and run into one of those Saint Bernards with a thermos of hot alcoholic beverage around its neck.

Shoveling this morning was about 40 mins, which means I skipped other exercise. Luckily it was the fluffy stuff, otherwise I'd have hauled out the snowblower.

Weather around here has been particularly awful. Another 5 inches last night. I've got about a foot and a half in the yard right now. Worst part is the cold. Temp has hovered around 5-8 F, but the wind chill has been -12 or so. I'm really growing to hate winter as I get older.

Same here. I borrowed my next door neighbor's snowblower and that made things a lot easier. It's also sunny out today, and while it's only about 10 degrees, it feels downright balmy in comparison.
