Yeah, sometimes I like the workout it provides so I dont use the snowblower. Not having to clear the driveway to go to work makes it less urgent sometimes these days. I do still have to get the kid to school though sometimes.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Jan 2022, 7:25pmNeither have I. We've had only one semi-decent snowfall so far, and I stuck with a shovel. I'll still be shoveling our lower roof deck and the back patio. Too many spots to clear snow where the snowblower doesn't easily fit. But when the accumulation is satanic, I'm wimping out on the sidewalk and driveway. It also gets me out of cycling or rowing, so there's that, too.revbob wrote: ↑16 Jan 2022, 9:29pmYeah, sometimes I like the workout it provides so I dont use the snowblower. Not too much accumulation overnight, but it's starting to come down now. Thankfully it looks like the fluffy, not slushy, stuff. Students (non-university) were supposed to return to the classroom today but it's been postponed cos of the snow. The Boss wondered if going forward snow days ain't gonna be a thing—everyone will go back to Zoom on those days. Sorry, kids, school ain't never closing again.

Snow started about 8pm last night. We got at least a foot overnight and it’s still snowing cats and dogs. I’m gonna give it another hour or two before I fire up the blower.revbob wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 9:23amTeachers want snow days as much as their students do.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 8:59amNot too much accumulation overnight, but it's starting to come down now. The Boss had to go out this morning and quickly switched to residential streets because she couldn't find the lanes on the big roads. Oh, we'll get ours. It's only a matter of time. I'm just thankful we've dodged it so far. I've heard we're actually in a drought, which is crazy to think about in winter, but it has been very dry.revbob wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 1:59pmI second this motion.
