I seldom complain about the weather, but wow - this winter has massively sucked. Snow, snow, snow...and more snow. Nasty cold. I spent Sunday morning clearing an ice dam on my roof and then the wind started gusting - in excess of 50 miles per hour. It brought down half of a tree in my yard. It thankfully missed the house. Temp was 8 degrees when I left for work this morning and we're supposed to get 4 more inches of snow tonight and according to the forecast - we'll be in the high teens/low 20's for the next 2 weeks...

We got hit by the polar vortex a couple of weeks ago. Air temp negative 28 with a wind chill pushing negative 50. They claim it was a once in a generation weather event. I certainly hope so.
