Just finished Looking for Mr Goodbar. There's 2.5 hours I'll never get back. I remember, sort of, the hub-bub surrounding this movie when it came out. I can see why it was so controversial for the time period, but as a film goes it's kinda enh.
So it's not about candy?
Oh there's coke, diane keaton's nips, and richard gere in a jockstrap, so yeah.

I didn't get it at first and took it way too seriously if that makes sense.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Just started watching The House on nf. It's a stop animation thingy and it's dark humor. So far, so good. I had to stop after the first part because audio files were calling my name.
