I think I saw the first Ilsa years ago, been meaning to check out the whole series. Tep, did you just download them or are they available to stream anywhere?

the 2nd and 3rd are on a great free service called Midnight Pulp. It has ads and the functions aren't as great as the billionaire companies, but the catalogue is fantastic.

yeah, I had copies in my collection. I hadn't seen these since I was a teenager, and the 4th one didn't ring any bells, so I guess I didn't see that one at all. The first three all had a couple of things I remembered.

Yeah, it's the same character (sadistic, sex hungry woman in power) but in a new situation.

holy shit midnight pulp looks awesome. there's definitely times when i'm looking through shudder and am like "there's not really anything trashy enough on this" so this may be perfect for those times.

Big Fish is on some channel I've never heard of, but the guide lists it as a documentary. It's almost certainly a mistake, but I'd like to think it's a wink at the essence of narrative, where a father's tall tales are, in fact, completely true.

Watched Overlord this evening and thought it was terrific. Good character development, I actually cared about these people. Recommended.

Maggie worked with Tom Skerritt when he played Don Quixote in the ballet of the same name two years running. She said he was nice.
