You're welcome! I think it's safe to say that letting PCU go out of print and circulation is amongst the worst things the Weinsteins have ever done.

Dogma came out in 1999. Which means that Kevin Smith hasn't made a single decent movie in the 21st century.

Why do I feel like I saw Dogma streaming? I must be mistaken.

It's available at archive.com in 1080p: https://archive.org/details/dogma_HD. Which is better than my old dvd copy, so cool.

I recall seeing Kevin Smith tell the story about how (I think) Carlin ended up in Dogma. They met years before and Carlin had told him he always wanted to play a priest who strangled children. Never quite got over his Catholic eduction …

For one evening in the 1970s, between his gurning, brylcreem slick, besuited radioboy days and the glaring, Book of Revelations, ancient funereal shambles he became, George Carlin was hot.

… Jim J. Bullock *isn't* dead. I would have sworn on a stack of Korans that he'd died a quarter century ago.

Arrested Development was Ron Howard's idea. Mitch Hurwitz is the creator, but the approach of a faux reality series filmed with handcams was Howard's, with Hurwitz approached to come up with the premise. I always assumed that Howard was kind of a late "get" to do the narration, but he was somewhat of an afterthought for the narration. He did it initially as a placeholder but it was agreed that it worked really well with him.
