Could have watched an entire episode made from those photos in the credits, but to throw so many funny ideas away like that speaks of a show still having ideas to burn.

If that had been part of a scene from the script, Chekhov's-gun style, there's no way Krusty doesn't get mauled by a rooster.

I quoted this scene today:

Something I never considered per the top comment, "I love how Bart assumes he will die before Skinner." Also I forgot Wiggum's response and got a good laugh out of it.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

god, the simpsons could just tee off of every line of the show for a while there.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

There was something of the Beatles going on with the Simpsons in the 90s. Great at the time, expecting (and usually being rewarded with) something amazing when a new episode aired, and no less fantastic in retrospect.

Mug, assuming it's a big mug. I hate small mugs.
