I was thinking about a kid I went to school with. He was pretty slow and dopey, but he'd try to cover it up by dropping big words into sentences. Which made me think of one of my favourite KitH sketches:


I love some of the minor touches, such as "your good lady wife." Such a strange and formal phrase for a ridiculous situation.

I don't either. It's wild that I have like 3 of the 5 box sets, and I watched the show religiously back in the day, but like 2-3 times a year I STILL find sketches of theirs that I have no memory of seeing.

I know that the US broadcasts cut out some content that CBC showed, but that sketch wouldn't trigger an6 censors.
