This show is GREAT! Interesting concept, good acting, fun guest spots. It's weird, funny, clever.
I need to "acquire" this because I'm not paying for yet another streaming service.

If I was going to give up one to get Peacock it would undoubtedly be netflix but I want to keep supporting Sandman for as long as they can keep it.

Any good mate?

I watched Slow Horses a few weeks back on Apple TV and it was tremendous. Gary Oldman nails it yet again.
My son says the video game is better.
It's adapted from a video game? I think I'll pass.

I like it. Not unlike The Walking Dead (Conservative Party) really. But the twist is a young girl who is immune to the virus so she is being used as leverage for goods. Obviously she is like gold dust. It's entertaining so far.

Don't be put off by it being taken from a video game.

It's not taken from a game in the same way the Mario Bros or Street Fighter movies are, the game itself is very story-heavy and this is an adaptation of that, basically so people can experience it without having to play the game.

Female Columbo? I'm sold.

I get peacock for free with my internet service, fortunately. Pretty much all the TV until this has not appealed in the slightest, but thats how NBC broadcasts most EPL games, so gotta have it (my streaming decisions are 99% decided based on sports and then I just watch whatever comes with those. It's fine. Almost everything is garbage anyways so and there's still more than enough to watch without subscribing to every ding dang bleep and bloop out there).

Addendum: talking about the sunglasses TV show obviously, I have a personal credo not watch television based on Nintendo cartridges or whatever.

Most recent series I watched was Troppo, which was on Freevee. A crime drama set in the wilds of North Queensland, Australia. Loved it. Think there’s only been one season so far (came out last year), which I binge-watched over 2 days a few months ago. Anyone else seen it?

My eldest sister lives in Australia and is always recommending these drunky Aussie series. I wouldn't be surprised if she hadn't mentioned it to me, but it didn't sink in.

I’m way behind on watching this kind of series (not necessarily just Aussie but any series since Breaking Bad) and I've missed so many of them. My favorite is still Lilyhammer (with Steven van Zandt – shame it was cancelled after 3 seasons), which I’ve been meaning to track down on dvd for a while now to rewatch it. But I stumbled on Troppo one night and was instantly hooked. Hope there’s another season.
