I legit want that. Like, I'd watch faithfully as long as he chastised people who get wrong answers.

Once you've lost the player Jeopardy fans dislike, it's truly over.

It's a weird timeline when one day you're agreeing with Gene Simmons and the next day you're agreeing with this turd.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑01 Sep 2021, 5:19pmhttps://torontosun.com/entertainment/te ... ch-is-dead

(I'm not as opposed to Incel guy as most. I think he's mostly just awkward, not a genuine ass. YMMV, of course.)

Re: Jeopardy
I am friendly with a woman who was one of the many who lost to him. She hated him, said he was an arrogant jackass who was rude to the production staff himself, and especially rude to Maggie Speak. Maggie was a beloved, longtime producer who was, incidentally, made to "retire" by Mike Richards. She was the reason I wasn't at all nervous when I was on the show - she was that good at her job. Anyway, I'm sure she (the contestant) was bitter about losing and the truth is somewhere in the middle.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 10:50amJennyB wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 10:44amIt's a weird timeline when one day you're agreeing with Gene Simmons and the next day you're agreeing with this turd.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑01 Sep 2021, 5:19pmhttps://torontosun.com/entertainment/te ... ch-is-dead

Re: Jeopardy
Of course I can only go by his behaviour in public, but the episodes I saw him on, including that super tournament, he struck me as someone who was just really challenged at social graces. The weirdo who wants to fit in but gets just enough wrong to be ostracized. Then again, if he's also a skilled poker player, he's got to be good at manipulating how people perceive him, so I might be sucked into to sympathize where none is warranted.JennyB wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 10:56amI am friendly with a woman who was one of the many who lost to him. Re: Jeopardy
Did Matt Amodio throw the game? How he missed final Jeopardy! is baffling.
Re: Jeopardy
Who the hell is that? Looks nothing like Trebek.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
