Alex did amazing during a long labour and yesterday we got to take our daughter home, she's doing well though still very sleepy (which I'm sure won't last) and Alex is recovering day by day. We couldn't be happier!
Congratulations sir! Glad to hear all are well. Is this your first born? Or are you a seasoned vet at the parenting thing?
Thank you! This is our 2nd daughter, thought I'd be more laid back this time, if anything I'm more panicky!
Oh good, so you're mastered functioning without sleep!
My second was harder, I thought. But I was also five years older.
Congrats, Tom!

Belated congratulations Tom (I was sure I posted a message before but it never appeared)
I hope mother and baby (and her sister) are doing well... and then you, of course
Thank you all, as I thought, sleepless nights are here again. Staying up tonight to let Alex have a rest, good job there's 8 hour cricket streams from this season on YouTube, can't wait.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
