Nonsense! For example, Heston has described KISS as the American Beatles.Kory wrote: ↑03 Dec 2021, 3:18pmBut american versions are always worse than the original british!Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑03 Dec 2021, 2:47pmBecause Limeys have good ideas but it takes others to make them into good practice?

The latter, I think. It's very good-natured.

Re: Currently watching.
I like both versions of Ghosts a lot. The US version has a sweetness to it that the UK version doesn't have. For a CBS sitcom, it's excellent.

Yeah that sounds a bit much for me. The sweetness of the UK version builds naturally and gradually over three seasons and is a major component of character development in the show, but I don't think I'd like it if it was there from the beginning. I'll try it anyway.JennyB wrote: I like both versions of Ghosts a lot. The US version has a sweetness to it that the UK version doesn't have. For a CBS sitcom, it's excellent.

If nothing else, the american series stars Rose McIver who I've found quite fetching for a number of years now.
