Life on Mars (again)

God knows how many times I get in the "don't know what to watch, life on mars it is" mode, but I'm in it again.

Find it so compelling, being born in 91 any decade before seems so different and intriguing.

Too much cider.
Wait, you were *born* in 91? I actually thought you were 91.

I love Life on Mars - thanks for mentioning it because I need to watch it again.

Started watching Lucile’s last night (have to wait until the missus goes away today to carry on Ozark).
Anyway Lucile’s is on the real telly and we obviously started mid series.
Can anyone tell me what the fuck is going on?
I thought it was a cop / murder series and it was loosely was but obviously there is also a long running story where some guy has been kidnapped and his Dad is being blackmailed and the Dad is blaming Lucifer???
Just realised this got autocorrected it was supposed to say Lucifer!!
Can anyone tell me what the back story is ie what the he’ll is going on?
I wish I could. It's based on a comic by Mike Carey and Peter Gross that has literally nothing to do with the premise of this show. I recommend the comic instead (though since the show started, they began publishing a new volume of the comic that ties in with the show. It's dumb, if you know the character well enough).
Ok I apologise I fucked up again the show I am talking about is Luther and is a UK cop program 😞
Got to the end, everyone was killed except Martha (or whatever his name is) and the woman who killed everyone. He wasn’t much of a cop even his mates were killed.

Rewatching all the Bond films at the moment and just starting Live and Let Die, been a few years since I've watched it but sure it'll be a corker.

No.1 on my Bond list but that's in part because i just always considered moore to be THE james bond.

I rewatched a few OG Outer Limits episodes last night - I'm gonna keep watching but my first impression is being twice the length of a Twilight Zone episode doesn't make it twice as good.

Forgot how good this film was! Moore had negative moments but his earlier Bond's were fantastic .

Licence to Kill still no. 1 for me however.

The same can be aid for TTZ's 4th season. An OL episode called "Corpus Earthling," however, stands out in my memory as being pretty good.

Ah I love that one, mind you Roger Moore wasn't to everyone's taste.

The Man With The Golden Gun tonight, featuring a triple nippled Christopher Lee, what's not to like?

Wasn’t that the Carly Simon theme tune? My favourite Bond theme tune.

I've been watching the fake documentaries that Fred Armisen and Bill Hader did. There's some really fun stuff there.
