There's a hyper-transphobic episode in series 3 called Fight.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Mar 2019, 3:41amI used to like the IT Crowd back in the day especially Catherine Parkinson but not sure I know what you guys are talking about???Silent Majority wrote: ↑05 Mar 2019, 2:16amIt's a bit of a you have to see it to believe it situation. I have given up on Toast Of London. I quite enjoyed the first episode but after that I am either missing something or it is just very predictable and not funny. The songs just annoy me too.

Watch Norsemen instead.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Mar 2019, 2:38pmI have given up on Toast Of London. I quite enjoyed the first episode but after that I am either missing something or it is just very predictable and not funny. The songs just annoy me too.

I didn't really know it was coming up, I guess I was just expecting it, given Linehan's behavior. Sad that it's true.Silent Majority wrote: ↑05 Mar 2019, 2:16amIt's a bit of a you have to see it to believe it situation. There are funny episodes along the way too.

Simpsons are pulling their Michael Jackson episode from syndication. Seems a bit silly to me.

The social media effect. It's fascinating to see how sensitive entertainment corporations are to negative buzz. There is zero reason to think this is about conscience or morality but rather brand preservation.Silent Majority wrote: ↑08 Mar 2019, 7:22amSimpsons are pulling their Michael Jackson episode from syndication. Maybe it's just because I watched part 1 of the documentary last night, but my instinct right now is no one needs to broadcast a sexual predator who raped children.Silent Majority wrote: ↑08 Mar 2019, 7:22amSimpsons are pulling their Michael Jackson episode from syndication. Yeah. It was the most disturbing two hours of TV I have ever watched. The excruciating detail...those poor boys.Flex wrote: ↑08 Mar 2019, 8:23amMaybe it's just because I watched part 1 of the documentary last night, but my instinct right now is no one needs to broadcast a sexual predator who raped children.Silent Majority wrote: ↑08 Mar 2019, 7:22amSimpsons are pulling their Michael Jackson episode from syndication. I watched part 1 last night. I don’t like trial by media however the evidence presented was well corroborated by the known facts leaving little or no other explanations.JennyB wrote: ↑04 Mar 2019, 11:07amYeah. Part 2 is on tonight, and I am not going to watch. When I worked in child abuse prevention, I used to use him as the cornerstone for a stereotypical pedophile, and people would get very angry at me. Believe the victims, unless the allegations are against someone you are a fan of, I guess. I am hoping that this changes some minds. The fact that the Jackson estate released a concert from Budapest on YouTube last night to be played at the same time the doc aired seems especially desperate to me.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑04 Mar 2019, 10:54amI don't think I can watch. I don't need to be persuaded of his guilt and immersing myself (that's the wrong phrase, but I can't think of anything better) would only make me feel worse about the world, I think.
My view before was that MJ was probably a paedophile however also suffering from some of mental illness that did not excuse his behaviour but partly explained it.
After watching I believe he was just an evil predator paedophile.
