I cant express how angry I am that there is a downton abbey movie coming out.
This hurts my feelings.
Love you Mimi but this shit cant stand!

Unless the movie end with a servant revolt beheading those fuckers and setting fire to the place I can't accept it.
You can have my overwrought period drama when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Me too. I don't look into it too deeply. It's just dishy fun that takes my mind off of things. It doesn't make me long for aristocracy.
Exactly. I couldn't imagine living like that anyway. I'd be okay if someone cooked for me because planning meals makes my brain hurt, but the thought of someone dressing me is gross and having to socialize like that would be mind-numbing. The whole lifestyle is so opposite of me. No thanks.

I do want to visit Highclere Castle, though.

Just as long as y'all don't revolute during tea time.
The revolution comes after the pouring of tea but before the addition milk, cream, and/or sugar. It will conclude with the victors consuming scones, cakes, and cookies.

If the poor have any kind of assistance, they won't work and the economy will collapse; if the rich don't have assistance, they won't invest and the economy will collapse.

New season of The Boys has been top shit so far. It still balances gross-out violence, humour, and deep scorn on late capitalism in a very satisfying way.

The Lance Henricksen show? I just thought of that a couple days ago because I'm currently re-re-watching X Files, and Terry O'Quin came out in one. I think I watched like 3 episodes of Millennium when it came out but it didn't stick for whatever reason. I also was surprised when I saw it lasted 3 seasons, I thought maybe one!

Lance Henriksen is so damn good in this show... and as an added bonus, there's plenty of Terry O' Quinn, too... the second season (Kinda like The Leftovers, come to think of it) is excellent television. Hell, they even fit Charles Nelson Reilly in as Jose Chung!
