I may have finally roped in the Boss re. Bob's Burgers. I've caught her laughing a few times at Louise and Gene, particularly yesterday's episode, about Louise's forced slumber party: "If she was a spice, she'd be flour."
I can't decide who's quips I like more.
I identify more with Louise's outrage than Gene's non-stop wack-a-doodleness.
"I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey-strong bowels were girded with strength, like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo dung." - Richard Nixon, Checkers Speech, abandoned early draft
Found out there was a stupidly long (4 hrs) documentary on Watergate that came out last year. So, starting to watch that because, well … maybe only James understands why. So far, I like the use of original news broadcasts, but could do without the recreations with actors for Nixon et al.
edit: Episode 4 ends with a journalist reporting on the Saturday Night Massacre. Just crazy shit to hear these people being fired or resigning, even with the cynical hindsight of how it turns out. Total validation for being a Watergate junkie.

HGTV is running a special called a Very Brady Renovation. The outside shot of the Brady house is real. The inside was a sound stage, natch. So, I guess the real house went up for sale and HGTV and the Property Brothers thought it would be a good idea to buy and transform it to look like the Brady set. I didn't think I'd enjoy watching it, but I was wrong. The changes they made to the house were pretty amazing--a lot of hard work. All the Brady kids were involved. My least favorite character, Bobby, played by Mike Lookinland, turns out to be a pretty nice guy. Jan (Eve Plumb) is kinda annoying. lol Anyway, you can find some videos of it on the Tube.

I watch that when I'm with my in-laws, it's a pretty damned impressive effort.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
