HGTV is running a special called a Very Brady Renovation. The outside shot of the Brady house is real. The inside was a sound stage, natch. So, I guess the real house went up for sale and HGTV and the Property Brothers thought it would be a good idea to buy and transform it to look like the Brady set. I didn't think I'd enjoy watching it, but I was wrong. The changes they made to the house were pretty amazing--a lot of hard work. All the Brady kids were involved. My least favorite character, Bobby, played by Mike Lookinland, turns out to be a pretty nice guy. Jan (Eve Plumb) is kinda annoying. lol Anyway, you can find some videos of it on the Tube.

I watch that when I'm with my in-laws, it's a pretty damned impressive effort.

We watched it with VH, Jr. (he is very into the Brady Bunch right now). I loved it.

The Brady Bunch was only BASED on a true story, 101, and heartbreaking, yes, but Marcia's nose healed.

Just finished binging all eight episodes of Russian Doll on Netflix. It's fantastic. It's so weird. It utilizes Harry Nilsson in the best way possible. It's loaded with dark humor. It is VERY Jewish. The whole looper thing is not a new concept, but it's done in such a fresh and interesting way that it seems new. Natasha Lyonne's acting is top notch. The music is incredible. Highly recommend.

Finally watched this, great show highly recommended, Natasha is really good. My wife never wanted to watch it so I finally just said fuck it I'm watching it and she got on board pretty quickly.

Im also enjoying the Watchmen series. Regina King kicks ass. Again Im not a comic book nerd so I don't get hung up on whether or not they stick closely to the source material (apparently they do not).

I've been dl-ing them, but haven't yet watched. I'm more interested that it isn't faithful to the original. We already have the movie, which was generally pretty good, so I'd want something distinct from a series.

I never saw the movie either, might check it out though for some background.

Some good tunes in the latest episode, Devo and Desmond Dekker.

Jenny should know Jean Smart just showed up in episode 3 and does an excellent job. Her work in recent years has been great.
