The Quincy punk episode, because my class is discussing it in a couple weeks. These punk kids seem like a lot of trouble. I hope the police do something about them before good kids get hurt.
So many good quotes in that episode.
I like “the violence-oriented music of punk rock.” Violence-oriented just waters it down so much. It's violentishesque.
I once did a cool mix with various artists and sound bites from that episode.

I borrowed this for cover art.

Do you still have it? Just thinking of something to share with students for fun and games.
I believe I do have it on a harddrive somewhere
Super duper appreciative if you could locate and share it.

No, but I saw the Angela Bassett-Lawrence Fishburne movie at least twice! "Eat the Damn cake, Anna-Mae!"

Finally cracked open my Larry Sanders Show box set. Sonofabitch, why did I sleep so long on this show? It's crazy good.

Rip Torn was so good. His delivery is exquisite.

Both he and Jeffrey Tambor created characters who were both obvious caricatures yet believable. Just amazing.

The other thing is that there was *zero* drop-off in quality. First episode to last, none at all. It was that rarest of birds that went out on its own terms and at the top of its game.

Also, if you haven't seen it yet, once you're done TLSS, watch the HBO documentary, The Garry Shandling Diaries. A number of storylines in TLSS were drawn from GS' life at the time.

Hello,

This is from a much different time and era. Does TV Guide exist anymore? Saturday morning cartoons were a mandatory staple when I was growing up.
