she's great!
The Boss and I have adopted her line about "Alabama English."
Can't wait to share the "Alabama English" line with my daughter. She moved there a few years back, first words she texted us after the plane landed: "f'ing swamp people"!!
That's Florida! /Floridians

Dunno does anybody watch Succession? Normally avoid these over hyped blockbuster shows, but got roped into this one and was getting bit bored with it until i got into S2 and it's just really taken off.

The Boss watches it. The bits I've seen haven't been enough to make me want to truly pay attention.

we've been watching Raised By Wolves (though I insist calling it "Dances with Wolves") and it's fuckin rad. SciFi Earth is Destroyed from a churchies vs atheist war, and a reprogrammed warbot android is colonizing a new planet with kids and the churchies want the kids. From Ridley Scott. We're 7 eps in, out of 10, we fuckin love it.

I gave it 12/13 episodes which is a lot by my usual standards and was inclined to cut my losses but it just suddenly sparked to life midway through S2. It's no Fargo or Mad Men, but I'm invested at least.

We're rewatching the final 3 seasons of Mad Men as my partner never finished watching the series (and can't remember where she stopped watching). It's an absolutely masterful show: writing, acting, directing, production design, music.

I'm currently doing my yearly re-watch. It's probably the best show ever written.

Entirely. It was always mesmerizing and thought-provoking for those with a history obsession. It irks me that the finale was so lacklustre.

I agree. There is an elegance to the writing.
